TIPS & TRICKS:
- Harvesting: When harvesting your own raspberries, they are perfect for picking when you can easily (or with slight tugging) pull them from their white, conical core. You want them to be red, but not squishy. Although the squishy ones are quick good to eat while you are harvesting! The squishy ones are extra ripe and won’t store as long in the fridge.
- Storing: Always remember that any fresh berry should be stored unwashed in the refrigerator. Only wash them right before you eat them! They last much longer this way. Also, I have found that raspberries have a longer shelf life that strawberries. Who knew!
